Cold enough for you?
While walking from the parking garage to my office this morning, I was struck by how cold it was--probably around 12 deg F.
Then I did a double-take, and realized that:
(1) I was wearing was I considered my "autumn" jacket in Wisconsin
(2) It wasn't even cold enough to make me zip up my jacket!
After those realizations, I didn't think it was particularly cold any more.

I had to laugh out loud! I have done the same thing over recent weeks, and keep saying to Wade I guess I've aclimatized (sp?) way too quickly. I feel just as cold here on a windy cold day as I did in Wisconsin, but the temperature difference is somewhere around 40 to 50 degrees warmer here. Of course in La Crosse I wouldn't dream about going out without a hat, scarf, gloves, and my nice wool coat and unless I'm going to be outside for a long time I've hardly worn any of those things since moving here.
I only own a light weight jacket now and that's for restaurants and movies!! I guess the Wisconsin blood warms quickly!
