Eclipse pictures
We drove a couple of hours south so that we could see the complete annular eclipse today.
Here's Emily rockin' her eclipse glasses.

One of the coolest thing was what the eclipse did to our shadows. You can't quite see the complete effect in the picture, but it made all of our shadows quite fuzzy.
Leslie spotted this sign by where we pulled off the highway to see the eclipse and thought that a pose would be fun.

You should check out the pics I took. I was just here in Provo, but they turned out decent. I put a solar filter on my telescope then just put my camera right up to the eyepiece. I wish I could have seen it from down south like you guys!
Very cool. Did you feel a temperature drop? That is what I remember from the last eclipse that affected us here up in the Midwest.
Patrick--Yes, there was a definite temperature drop. Not quite as much as I remember from my last eclipse (1993?), but still very noticeable.
