Hike to Stewart Falls

We decided to go on a family hike for Memorial Day. We picked a 4 mile (round trip) hike from Aspen Grove to Stewart Falls. Here are some pics.

You can see why it's called "Aspen Grove"

I think this is the back side of Mount Timpanogos. Hard to tell, since I'm not used to looking at it from that direction. It's possible this was another nearby mountain.

Here is the happy family at the falls!

Another nice family shot.

This is a nice shot of the whole falls. The reason this looks a bit fuzzy is that there was a lot of mist in the air, being kicked up by the falls.

Here I am with Leslie.

We saw a lot of other nice scenery along the way.

New World Record!

I made it to work today (on my bike) in less than 20 minutes for the first time ever! Not bad, considering it's about 5.7 miles. And considering it typically takes me 20 minutes to drive (15 minutes for the driving + 5 minutes walking from the nearest parking lot).

Here's the route I take:

Dick Van Dyke and The Vantastix

It's not the world's most impressive a cappella number, but it's fun to see that Dick Van Dyke has still got it together.

This one's for Anna...

...one of my favorite cousins.

I think I would go nuts with it, but she's trying to win something like this:

And she gets points for people who blog about her. Here's the sponsoring site:
